When we are younger we are told "No" when we are doing something against the rules. We tell our pets "no" when teaching them not to do something that could harm them.
It only makes sense that in our subconscious mind saying "No" is a "bad" thing. However as we get older if we keep saying Yes to everything we get burned out and can even lose ourselves to the "yes" madness.
Consider this your permission to say "No".

You've probably heard some form of that saying during your life time and I'm betting you still have a hard time with it every now and then. We all have good days and bad days, but ultimately we should love ourselves no matter what's going on externally.
Here's where morning affirmations come in.

I was blessed with a set of wide hips and a pear shaped frame. Growing up I hated them.
Like many, I struggled with my body image through middle school, high school and even into college. At one point I stopped eating breakfast and lunch. I ate one small meal a day at dinner, until my mom found out. I agreed to try slim fast, so I was at least "eating" something during the day.
