With Halloween/Samhain behind us, we've truly entered into the dark part of the year. The part of the year where we turn inward, review what worked for us, what isn't working and begin to plan where to go next.
Growing up, I tended to put part of my life into compartments.
School tasks, friends--"school Jenn" over here.
Work tasks, feelings--"work Jenn" over here.
Dance class Jenn over there. Home alone Jenn over here. Etc.
Seeing myself in different ways in different settings.
Of course any time when these settings/friends/etc. would merge, things would feel a little overwhelming.
Before we begin, I just want to send out a bit of gratitude to all of you that read my blog and interact with me on Facebook or in the comments!
A few of you have even been sharing my posts!!
THANK YOU!! <3
This week's topic of choice, Falling into the rhythm of Autumn. ;)
Let's start of with one of my favorite quotes....
The seasonal cycle has an affect on us. We are finally feeling those chilly fall mornings here in central New York. The leaves are moving beyond their peak coloration and starting to let go and fall to the earth below.
Happy Fall, ya'll!!
I'm just getting back into the swing of things after my New Orleans trip; a little bit of leisure AND business (More on that in a later post!). We got back just in time for peak leaf colors!
If you can't love yourself, how can you love someone else...
You've probably heard some form of that saying during your life time and I'm betting you still have a hard time with it every now and then. We all have good days and bad days, but ultimately we should love ourselves no matter what's going on externally.
Here's where morning affirmations come in.
