Can you be fully involved in a task/event that you let go completely and just focus on the given moment? Is that even possible?
I had a Saturday off. Plans were cancelled and I was free.
Yesterday I had the pleasure to teach breathing techniques and gentle stretches to a group of educational administrators. Some refused to play along when I asked them to close their eyes, scrunch up their faces and then raise their eye brows and open their mouths wide because they didn't want to look "weird" in front of their colleagues. Others participated whole heartedly with big smiles.
This got me thinking, how many experiences we give up on because we don't want to stand out and look weird. How many new ideas did we pass up? How many chances to chase our dreams did we let slip by?!
